Robert Y. Williams suffered a cerebral hemorrhage Monday
evening about 11:45 o'clock. He had been in declining health for
several months and was seriously ill about a year ago but rallied
and was about town as usual until he suffered a complication of
ills terminating in the stroke Monday night. He was born the son
of Hamilton and Nancy Williams in Putnam County Dec 27, 1868. He
was married to ida STRAUGHN Jan 7, 1883 of Fincastle, Putnam Co
and spent his entire life in the neighborhood of Waveland. There
survive his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Iva WASSON of
Crawfordsville and Mrs. Don BILBO of Beatrice, Ind; a son, Donald
Williams of Miami Beach, FL and five grandchildren and five
greats; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth NICHOLS of Bridgeport, In and a
brother, Sherman of Kansas City. the funeral will be preached by
his pastor the Rev. Frank Alberts, Friday at 2 o'clock at the
